Mentorship Videos for January 2024
December mentorship brought us into a discussion on ekklesia that was focused upon the keys of the kingdom. Those keys represent both authority to open and close as well as specific tools (keys) to open and close. The keys are principles found within the scripture and, more specifically, are the ordinances, commandments, or the law. Discussion of the law is often ignored as either not pertaining to the New Testament (doctrine known as antinomianism) or is considered very complicated, if not impossible, to be able to understand. If Jesus was empowering His church with the law, then more discussion needs to follow as to how the old and the new testaments flow together and how law and grace complement one another. The next few months of mentorship materials will be focused upon the kingdom keys identified as God's law. Please note that the videos were recorded in 15 minutes sections; therefore each month, we will look at 3 or 4 videos centered around a common thought. Some material may seem to be a repeat of kingdom topics discussed in earlier months, but each principle that is shared lays a foundation for or fits into the overall understanding of the application of biblical law for the new covenant ekklesia.
