Moses was a man who covered his face because of the level of glory that was reflected from his countenance (Ex. 34:28-35; II Cor. 3:13-18). During Moses’ first encounter with God at the burning bush, Moses hid his face from God. However, Moses had many encounters with God’s presence which caused him to be changed from glory to glory. Drawing insight from the life of Moses, the believer is admonished to understand that progressive revelation brings about progressive transformation. The teaching closes with an explanation of the mercy discovered within veiled glory.
