God set a steadfast principle in the earth: the image of the parent is in the seed. We find that principle demonstrated in all the created order. The maple tree brings forth a maple tree while the rose bush produces more rose bushes. Everything produces after its kind. We also find that same precept in the way the generations that followed Adam reflected his marred image. Sin and death would be inherited by all people unless God produced a new seed that had a new, unmarred image. “Image and Likeness” looks at God’s amazing plan to create that new seed line.
