The Law of Scarcity teaching examines the idea that scarcity, which means that there is more demand for a thing than a supply to fill that demand, is a principle that has been present even before Adam’s fall and before the curse that was pronounced upon mankind. Satan suggested that Adam focus upon scarcity and that he should choose present orientation because of a scarce environment. Proper understanding of the law of scarcity promotes creativity, demands good stewardship, and fosters thrift. Improper orientation to scarcity lays the groundwork for a socialistic society and personal irresponsibility.
