Christmas Inspiration - CDs
This CD 4-teaching set entitled "Christmas Inspiration" is a collection of faith-building and inspirational sermons that focus on the persons and events connected with the birth of Christ. Included in the set are the following four messages:
- #1: “Goodwill to Men” is a message based upon the proclamation of God’s predetermined plan, which He reveals through both human and angelic messengers. By examining the good news delivered to Elizabeth and Zacharias, the listener is inspired to believe that God’s eternal reality circumvents the restraints of time and releases extraordinary circumstances in the lives of ordinary people.
- #2: “Hark the Herald” examines eight Bible characters found within the Christmas narrative who received a heavenly message. Not every recipient was wise enough to harken. The responses varied from seeking and seeing to doubting and dumb. This CD admonishes the listener to take responsibility to hear and respond in faith to God’s promises.
- #3: “Born in a Manger” looks at the ignoble location chosen by God as the birthplace of the King of kings. God often elects to begin His work in obscurity. The manger had a message for Mary, for the Shepherds, and for the believer today. Those who understand that supernatural promises are often released in the midst of ordinary circumstances will come from obscurity into glory.
- #4: “The Anointing that Prepares the Way” is an inspiring sermon, which examines three stages that bring the anointing of Christ into manifestation on the earth. First, the seed must be “wombed” in a believing heart; second, the anointing will provide a pathway for others to turn to the Lord; and third, the anointing that prepares decreases when the anointed Christ is manifested.
