Dr. Patti Amsden
Dr. Patti Amsden is an anointed teacher, preacher and prophet. Co-founder of Son Life Church, Collinsville, IL
Patti Amsden is an author, conference speaker, seminary teacher and a pastor. She is a veteran teacher who has earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Beacon University in Columbus, Georgia. Her scholarship and understanding of Biblical principles have enhanced the messages that she has proclaimed in pulpits and classrooms for the last thirty years. She is also the author of several books including, "Portals", “The Law of Boundaries”, “Evidence that Calls Us to Dance “, “The Apostle’s Creed”, and her latest book, "The Reformer's Creed".
Dr. Amsden serves as a faculty member of Beacon Institutes, a local-church based higher education extension of Beacon University. She travels extensively throughout the United States for the seminary sharing her scriptural insights with the next generation of leaders in the body of Christ.
Patti’s skill in preaching has opened many doors of ministry in local churches and conferences. Along with her extensive travel in the United States, she as ministered in China, Japan, Mexico, Canada, England, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Panama, Africa, the Philippines and the Bahamas.
Laboring along side her husband, Pastor Dennis Amsden, Dr. Amsden served as co-pastor of Son Life Church in Collinsville, Illinois, for almost three decades. The senior pastoral role of the local assembly, which was pioneered by the Amsdens, was transferred to their son, David Amsden, in 2007. Dr. Amsden still serves as part of the pastoral staff.
Gifted with a prophetic mantle, Patti delivers pinpointed, accurate personal prophecies. Working in tandem with other prophets or solo, she has ministered in the gifts of the Holy Spirit to thousands. Her desire is to impact the lives of God’s saints as did the ministry of Ezra who,
“read in the book in the Law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading” (Neh. 8:8).
